Limited Lifetime Warranty for United Kingdom
YALE SECURITY POINT warrants only to the original purchaser (the “Purchaser”) of a Yale HSA6200, HSA6300 and HSA6400 (the “Product”) that was supplied and installed by an authorised Yale Security Point installer that, in addition to the warranty provided by the manufacturer of the product, that for the term of ownership by the original purchaser at the original place of installation of the Product, that in the event of a fault occurring in the Product, Yale Security Point will repair or replace the Product (or part of the Product) that is deemed, at the sole discretion of Yale Security Point, to be faulty where the fault has occurred under normal use and service.
Yale Security Point reserves the right, before having any obligation under this limited warranty, to inspect the faulty Product. The Purchaser must make claim to Yale Security Point (by contacting Yale Security Point on 0800 97 00247) within 60 days of occurrence, and must present acceptable proof of original ownership (such as original receipt, warranty card registration, on-line registration, or other documentation Yale Security Point deems acceptable) for the Product. Please retain the dated invoice as evidence of the original purchaser's date of purchase. You will need it for any warranty service.
Yale Security Point, at its option, shall repair or replace the defective Product covered by this warranty. In order to keep this limited warranty in effect:
- The Product must have been handled and used as prescribed in the manufacturers instructions.
- The Product must be serviced by a Yale Security Point authorised installer at least every 18 months, such period starting from the date of installation.
- This limited warranty does not cover: (a)any damage due to accident, misuse, abuse or negligenc and (b) any labour costs incurred in the removal or replacement of the faulty Product.
- This warranty does not affect any other legal rights you may have by operation of law.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YALE SECURITY POINT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
